Print method — one of 27 in the glossary
Decoration stitched into the fabric with thread rather than printed onto it. Reads as more permanent and more formal than print, which is why it dominates corporate wear, headwear and outerwear. Cost scales with stitch count rather than colour count, so a small dense logo can cost more than a large simple one. Fine detail and small lettering are the limits: thread cannot resolve what ink can.
