Print method — one of 27 in the glossary
A machine that applies controlled heat and pressure for a set time, used to apply transfers, heat transfer vinyl and sublimation. Some transfers are hot peel and some are cold peel, and the product decides which. Time, temperature and pressure all have to suit the specific transfer and the specific fabric; getting one wrong is what produces a print that peels after a wash, or a shiny rectangle pressed permanently into the garment.
