The total number of stitches in an embroidered design, and the figure embroidery is priced on. Because cost follows stitches rather than colours, a small densely filled logo can be more expensive than a much larger open one. Reducing fill density or replacing a solid area with an outline is the usual way to bring an embroidery quote down.
