Converting artwork into the stitch file an embroidery machine follows: stitch types, directions, densities and the order in which the machine sews them. It is interpretation rather than conversion, which is why the same logo digitized by two people produces two different results. A one-off cost per design, and the main reason embroidery has a setup charge.
