End-On-End
Fabric — one of 56 in the glossary
A plain weave in which the lengthwise warp yarns alternate between a coloured yarn and a white one, so the cloth reads as a soft solid from a distance and as a fine texture up close. Because the effect is yarn-dyed it runs through the structure and cannot wash out. It is a classic dress-shirt fabric, giving more depth than a flat solid without looking patterned. It weaves and finishes like any fine shirting, so it takes embroidery cleanly and is a safe choice for corporate logo work.
