Size charts

Blank apparel is not sized consistently between brands. A Gildan large and a Bella + Canvas large are cut differently, and a garment-dyed style will shrink more than a pre-shrunk one. Measure a shirt the customer already likes and match it to the chart rather than trusting the letter on the label.

How to measure

Chest. Lay the shirt flat, measure across one inch below the armhole, and double it.

Body length. Measure from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the hem.

Sleeve length. Measure from the centre of the back collar to the end of the sleeve.

Fit by cut

Classic or heavyweight styles such as Gildan 5000 run boxy and full. Fashion or retail cuts such as Bella + Canvas 3001 and Next Level 3600 run narrower and roughly one size smaller. Garment-dyed styles such as Comfort Colors 1717 are cut generously because they shrink in the dye process.
