The alignment of each colour in a multi-colour print relative to the others. Tight registration is what makes a detailed design look crisp; a fraction of a millimetre out and outlines sit beside their fills instead of around them. Designs with tight registration waste more garments during setup, which is worth allowing for when ordering blanks.
