Screen printing using an ink containing a blowing agent that expands under heat, raising the print off the surface of the garment. Gives a tactile, three-dimensional result popular on streetwear and varsity lettering. Detail is the cost: the expansion distorts fine lines, so puff suits bold shapes and heavy type rather than intricate artwork.
