Jackets

Outerwear worn over the rest of an outfit, covering everything in the catalogue from a light woven windbreaker to an insulated workwear parka. They are the highest-value decorated item most shops sell, because the garment cost is high enough that the decoration is a small share of the price. Almost every jacket is polyester or nylon shell over a lining, which rules out most printing: embroidery and heat-applied transfers do the work, and both have to contend with linings, seams, zips and pockets. Check for a water-repellent finish and for seam sealing before committing to any heat-applied method.
