Full Cut
Garment — one of 28 in the glossary
A generous, roomy fit with extra width through the chest, body and sleeve, as opposed to a fitted or retail cut. It is the traditional shape of the promotional tee: it suits a wide range of body types from one size run, which is what a customer ordering fifty shirts for unknown recipients needs. The extra width also gives a larger flat print area than a tapered style. The trade-off is appearance — full-cut garments look boxy next to a side-seamed fashion fit, so match the cut to whether the shirt is a giveaway or something people are meant to choose to wear.
