A spring-loaded toggle on a drawcord that grips the cord where you set it, so an adjusted hood or waistband stays adjusted and the cord cannot retract into its casing. They are a small, cheap component and their presence is a fair indicator that a garment was designed rather than merely assembled. Like grommets and zip pulls, they are hard parts that must be moved clear of a heat press platen; leaving one under the press will emboss it into the garment.
