What is the difference between the Next Level 3600 and the Bella Canvas 3001?

Both are around 4.2 to 4.3 oz combed ring spun cotton with side seams. The 3600 is an inch wider in the chest at S and M, runs to 6XL where the 3001 stops at 5XL, and uses a 1x1 rib neck with shoulder-to-shoulder taping.

Can I mix Next Level and Bella Canvas in one order?

Garment measurements

Body length at back: Measured from high point shoulder to finished hem at back.
Chest: Measured across the chest one inch below armhole when laid flat.

What the numbers mean in practice

A size S measures 19″ across the chest here against 18″ for both the Gildan 5000 and the Bella 3001. A full inch at the small end is not a rounding difference, and it carries through M at 20 1/2″ before the three brands converge at 22″ for L.

The body chart tells the same story from the other side: Next Level puts a size S on a 35″–38″ chest where Gildan says 36″–37″ and Bella says 34″–37″. Three brands, three claims, one nominal size.

This is the practical reason not to mix brands within one order if sizes were collected from people in advance. A crowd that told you their size for a Bella order will not get the same fit in a Next Level.

It runs to 6XL, which is further than any other style on these pages, though we stock a narrower range than the sheet lists.

A distributor carries a subset of what a mill offers, so this is our range rather than the brand’s full palette — 31 colours in XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL. The spec sheet also lists 5XL and 6XL, which we do not carry in this style.
