Body length at back: Measured from high point shoulder to finished hem at back.
Chest: Measured across the chest one inch below armhole when laid flat.

What the numbers mean in practice

The flat measurements match the 5000 exactly from S upward. What differs is the fabric — 4.5 oz ring spun against 5.3 oz open end — so the shirt drapes closer to the body and reads as a slimmer shirt at the same nominal size.

This is the Gildan style to pick when someone asks for something that feels like a retail tee rather than a workwear one. It is also the one to watch on dark heathers, which are 65/35 polyester and behave like a blend at the press rather than like cotton.

The sheet runs XS to 5XL. We stock XS to 4XL — if you need 5XL, ask rather than assuming the size is orderable.
