Alstyle 1301 Size Chart
Classic Adult Tee. Alstyle publishes one table for this style — the garment itself, laid flat. Some brands also publish a body chart saying which chest a size is meant to fit; this sheet does not, so neither does this page.
Garment measurements
The shirt itself, laid flat on a table. Chest is measured across, one inch below the armhole, so it is half the way round.

What the numbers mean in practice
Alstyle publishes tolerances, which most brands do not: ±1″ on body width and length, ±½″ on everything else. That is worth knowing before you reject a sample. A 22″ large that measures 22½″ is inside spec.
The body length grades 2″ from S to M and again from M to L, then 1″ per size after that. Most brands grade 1″ throughout, so a 1301 medium is a full inch longer than you would expect coming from a Gildan or a Bella.
It is also the widest of the Alstyle tees at the same nominal size, because it is the 6 oz heavyweight. The Premium 1701 is the one to compare it against.

Common questions
- Does the Alstyle 1301 run big?
- It runs long rather than wide. Chest matches the industry at 18″ for S and 22″ for L, but body length grades 2″ between S, M and L where most brands grade 1″, so a medium is noticeably longer than a Gildan medium.
- What is the difference between the Alstyle 1301 and 1701?
- Weight and hand. The 1301 is 6.0 oz standard cotton; the 1701 is 5.5 oz soft spun with a better drape. The 1701 also starts at XS where the 1301 starts at S, and the 1301 runs up to 6XL.
- What tolerance does Alstyle allow on measurements?
- ±1″ on body width and body length, ±½″ on shoulder, armhole and sleeve. The brand prints this on its own spec sheet, which is more than most do.
