Can you print over the pocket?

Not well. A pocket breaks the platen surface, so a left chest print normally moves to the right chest, a sleeve or the back. Decide that before the artwork is approved.

Garment measurements

The shirt itself, laid flat on a table. Chest is measured across, one inch below the armhole, so it is half the way round.

Body length at back: Measured from high point shoulder to finished hem at back.
Chest: Measured across the chest one inch below armhole when laid flat.
Sleeve length from centre back: Measured from centre back neck to shoulder point to sleeve hem.

What the numbers mean in practice

The same body as the 1717 with a left chest pocket added, and the measurements are identical size for size. It stops at 3XL where the 1717 runs to 4XL.

The pocket is the reason to check your artwork before quoting. A left chest print and a left chest pocket want the same space, so most jobs on this style move the print to the right chest, the sleeve or the back.

Garment-dyed, so the same dye-lot rule applies: order the whole job at once.
